Parents and students are cordially invited to the 1st Annual St. John Paul II Academy Open House to provide you with an exciting glimpse into what the future of this new Catholic high school will look and feel. The Open House will take place at what will be our temporary location until the high school is ready for us to move into. This special evening will give you an opportunity to meet with the Principal as well as some of the parents and students who have already committed to be part of the SJP II Academy community. We welcome all families interested in our wonderful project to attend.

Congratulations to all students who auditioned to have a role in the upcoming school production of “Aladdin Jr.”! Mrs. Harris and her assistants were given a tough task considering the amazing talent displayed by all the students who tried out. The cast lists have been posted on the Office window.

A reminder to parents there is no Mass this Friday as the priests are on a Study Week.Next school Mass will be Friday, November 24th at 9:00 am.

Parents should be receiving a letter from the Building Committee asking for donations to help pay off the mortgage on the School and Church. This letter will be given to the youngest family member enrolled in the school.

A reminder from the Main Office that orders for gift cards and frozen food orders are due by the end of this week.

This is an open invitation to all parents to attend our school’s Remembrance Day ceremony, lead this year by our Grade Three classes! Wear a poppy and pay respect for the thousands of Canadian soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms!

Reminder to parents that tomorrow, Friday November 10th, is NOT an early dismissal day. Classes will end, as usual, at 3:30 pm.

Also, a reminder there is no school on Monday, November 13th as a day in lieu of Remembrance Day (Saturday, November 11th). There will not be school as well on Tuesday, November 14th for a Professional Day.
