I would like to extend a huge thank-you to the 24 Grade Six and Seven students who wrote the admission test for the Science Challenge. There are only eight spots available and they go to (in no particular order):

Science Challenge Test Reminder

Good Morning,

I hope that everyone is enjoying this beautiful Saturday morning.  This is just a quick reminder that the Science Challenge Test will be held this Monday during lunch recess.  Please study Chapter 7, the Physics chapter.

Parent and Sponsor Confirmation Meeting #1

This is a reminder that there will be a Parent and Sponsor Confirmation meeting on Thursday, March 2nd.  The meeting will be held in the 7K classroom from 3:45-4:30.  This is an important information meeting and we urge parents and sponsors to make every effort to attend.

2017 SCIENCE CHALLENGE

Eight students from grades six and seven will have the opportunity to compete in this years’  Let’s Talk Science Challenge (LTSC) held annually at UBC.  As in past years, students wishing to compete will be asked to write a test.  The eight students will comprise two teams who will represent SFX against other top entrants from the Lower Mainland.  For more information, please visit the Let’s Talk Science Challenge website at:

FSA Study Material
