Spirit Day Tomorrow
To honour Terry Fox, we will be having a spirit day tomorrow. Students are welcome to come to school in their casual sports clothing. We will also be having popcorn and movie tomorrow. $4 will be collected from students that participate in both (casual sports clothing and movie & popcorn). $2 will be collected from students that only participate in the casual sports clothing spirit day (no move & popcorn). Tomorrow is a PE day. Please make sure your child is in sports clothing or has his/her PE uniform to change into.
Reading Log
Reading logs were sent home today. Please make sure your child reads for a minimum of 15 minutes and records the title of the book in the reading log tonight.
Spelling Words
We started the spelling program today. Spelling words are copied into the planner. Students are to study the spelling words and be ready for a spelling test next Monday.
Leveled Paper Books
The leveled paper books will be sent home tomorrow. Please look out for them and spend some time reading it with your child. They may switch their book when they know all the words.
