Halloween

Students may come to school in their Halloween costume tomorrow.  It is a PE day, however, Mr. P said he will make an exception and it is okay for the students not to be in PE uniform tomorrow.  The costume parade will start at 1:30pm.  Parents are welcome to come join us.  We will be collecting non-perishable food donations tomorrow.  Looking forward to seeing the grade ones in their costumes!  Hope to see you at the costume parade!

Walkathon

Tomorrow is our school Walkathon.  Students may come to school in their PE uniform.  Please make sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather.  A snack will be provided.  Students do not need to bring their backpack or planner tomorrow.  Please note that it is a noon dismissal tomorrow.

Reading Log

As a reminder, reading logs are due every Monday or the beginning of the week.  Since Monday is a holiday next week, please make sure your child submits his/her reading log on Tuesday.

Spelling

Next week, the spelling test will be on Tuesday.  There will be no new spelling words given next week.  Please have your child review old spelling words regularly so they remember them.

Jesus is Coming Over for a Visit

When your child is the “Star of the Week” he/she will have the opportunity to bring Jesus home for a visit.  This is an opportunity for faith development and a chance to get your child to clean up around the house.  Please make sure your child takes care of Jesus and returns him the next day.  More information will be provided when it is your child’s turn.
