Parking Patrol & Yard Supervision Duty
St. Francis Xavier School must ensure the safety of all students and therefore Parking Patrol & Yard Supervision duties are mandatory for all families. Each family is required to fulfill 3 days of Parking Patrol & Yard Supervision duties. Parking Patrol is a necessary service due to the location of the school and high volume of traffic on Great Northern Way. Parents are needed to assist the teachers in daily yard supervision because of the extensive area that the teachers have to cover.

Parking Patrol Videos

Position 1 assists pedestrians cross safely at the corner of Brunswick and Great Northern Way in the morning. In the afternoon they will monitor front of school traffic.
Position 2 starts in the morning at parkade entrance gates and in the afternoon will help with parkade monitoring and dismissal supervision.
Position 3 assist with morning drop offs in front of the school and in the afternoon will direct traffic at the driveway entrance.
Position 4 assist with morning drop offs in front of the school and in the afternoon will direct traffic at the parkade entrance.
Position 5 starts in the morning at driveway entrance and in the afternoon will help with front of school monitor and dismissal supervision.
