Dear students,
We have learned two terms on Thursday in the beginning of the class. They are “pajamas and robe”.
Do you remember how to say them in Mandarin?
They are 睡衣shuì yī and 睡袍 shuì páo。
睡袍也可以是“浴袍 yù páo” especially when you wear it before or after taking a shower.
please view who wore pajamas, and who wore robe on the Pajamas Day?
You are encouraged to speak in Mandarin at home when you need to know where is your pajamas or when you are looking for them?
The sentences could be:
媽媽,請問我的”睡衣”在哪裡? May I know/ask where is my pajamas?
(Mā ma, qǐng wèn wǒ de “shuì yī” zài nǎ lǐ?)
媽媽,你有沒有看到我的”浴袍”? Mom, did you see my robe?
(Nǐ yǒu méi yǒu kàn dào wǒ de “yù páo”?)
Let’s practice 🙂
